Always in my heart, always on my mind, you gave me all the love in the world, and you taught me to be kind. You will always be my mum, no matter where you are, And although I can not see you, I know that you are not far. I sense you standing with me, I feel you hold my hand, I hear you say ‘it will be ok’ ‘I’m here, please understand’ You had no choice but leave us, as you were needed up above. It was your time to help in heaven and heal them with your love. If only I could sit with you, And look into your eyes. To hold your hand for one last time And give you that last hug. To tell you how I love you, and how much you mean to me. To feel my lips upon your cheek, To sit there on your knee. The one last think I need to say, Is that I thank the lord above. For giving me the most wonderful mum, Who showered me with love. I will always be very grateful, For the happy times we shared. A loving mum and daughter, the perfect little pair.
